Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning

Center for Health Inclusion, Research and Practice (CHIRP)
This externally-funded research Center focuses on finding ways to close the gaps in systematic health disparities that adversely affect people from historically marginalized groups, including those living in poverty, people of color, and those with disabilities. CHIRP is made up of three independent but synergistic research labs, with affiliated faculty and postdoctoral researchers.

Mendel Observatory
School of Science and Engineering
Used by students, faculty, the North Shore Amateur Astronomy Club and the general public, the observatory houses an Optical Guidance Systems 20-inch Ritchey-Cretien reflector and a number of electronic imaging systems.
Merrimack Institute for New Teacher Support
Winston School of Education and Social Policy
Provides an ongoing community for new and early teachers currently in the field to receive guidance, resources and developmental opportunities.
